EDWARD DEARBORN⁸ PHILBRICK  (JOHN⁷, JOSEPH⁶, ABNER⁵, THOMAS⁴, SAMUEL³, THOMAS², THOMAS¹)

    This document is a receipt for a pair of shoes, apparently purchased by Miss Hannah Chase for $1.12.  "E.D. Philbrick" in "Seabrook" received pay.  This document corresponds with Edward Dearborn Philbrick (JC #89-I.-Gen.#8) who was born in Seabrook on June 27, 1823 and died at "Tub Harbor, Labrador (NH?) 2 Aug., 1848" according to Jacob Chapaman's "Philbrick & Philbrook Families."  Chapman writes that Edward "went on a voyage for his health and was drowned…"
