RILEY JAMES⁹ PHILBROOK  (ELISHA⁸, JONATHAN⁷, WILLIAM⁶, WILLIAM⁵, JONATHAN⁴, WILLIAM³, THOMAS² PHILBRICK, THOMAS¹)

Riley James Philbrook was born in Searsmont, Waldo Co., Maine on Aug. 28, 1840.  He served in Co. K, 2nd Minnesota Infantry during the Civil War.  He married Lavina Gertrude Clark on Feb. 22, 1866 in Northfield, Rice Co., Minnesota.  She was born Nov. 10, 1851 and died Feb. 18, 1938.  Riley James Philbrook passed away on December 23, 1915 in Webster, Day Co., South Dakota.

Laurence Adrian Philbrook, son of Riley James Philbrook & Lavina G. Clark, was born Feb. 9, 1880 in Windom, Cottonwood Co., Minnesota.  He married Margery Anna Edgar on March 27, 1904.  She was born Dec. 1, 1878 in Brighton, Michigan and died on Jan. 3, 1944.  Laurence Adrian Philbrook died on Dec. 7, 1949.  Laurence & Margery are seated in front.  The couple standing behind them is Margery's brother and sister, Elmer J. Edgar and Elisabeth G. (Bessie) Edgar.

Wendell Edgar Philbrook, son of Lawrence Adrian Philbrook & Margery Edgar, was born Sept. 3, 1906.  He married Genevieve Ahlers, daughter of Sidney Earl Ahlers and Evelyn Moore.  She was born May 25, 1911 and died on Nov. 29, 1994.  Wendell E. Philbrook died Sept. 12, 1995.
