This photograph is believed to be Lucian Taylor Philbrick who was a child of Apheus (Offa) P. Philbrick & Ada May Haskell: LUCIAN TAYLOR9 PHILBRICK (ALPHEUS P.8, LUCIAN7, ENOCH6, JONATHAN5, NATHAN4, JAMES3, JAMES2, THOMAS1). Information on the back states "Luchan T. Philbrick", "1905" and "Age 5". The photograph appears to be of a girl, however it was not uncommon for young boys to be dressed in fashions similar to little girls during that time in history. The writing on the back of the photograph appears to be from around that time period (early 1900's). The photograph also was taken in Lewiston, Maine which is south of Leeds where Alpheus & Ada Philbrick's family lived. Lucian is recorded as marrying Marion A. Cronkhite in 1927 according the Maine State Archives. He died in 1982. There is a possibility that the photograph may be misidentified, but at this point the PPFA will go with the assumption that it is correctly labeled and based on the evidence, is indeed Lucian Philbrick.
