1790 Census - Vermont 

Column #1:  Free white males of 16 years and upward, including heads of families.

Column #2:  Free white males under 16 years.

Column #3:  Free white females, including heads of families.

Column #4:  All other free persons.

Column #5:  Slaves*

*  Though there are no "Slaves" listed for the Philbrick/Philbrook Family in 1790 Vermont Census, it was not uncommon to find neighbors whose enumeration included slaves amongst the family.
